Plans call for 86 condominiums – including 10 for moderate-income buyers
The City of Arcadia has approved a local developer’s plan to bring housing to a sit located just north of Santa Anita Park.
The Colorado Collection, which is being developed by MW Investment Group, is slated for a site at 201 and 225 Colorado Place. Plans call for the construction of a series of three-story buildings in the place of an existing Motel 6, creating a mix of two- and three-bedroom condominiums with parking for 177 vehicles.
The project is making use of a density bonus to permit its proposed scale. In exchange, nine of the homes are to be set aside for purchase by moderate-income households.
KTGY is designing the Colorado Collection, which would consist of Spanish Colonial and Spanish Santa Barbara-style buildings.
MW Investment Group is also behind plans for similar townhome-style developments in San Dimas and Whittier.
