24 TOWNHOMES APPROVED AT 12826 PHILADELPHIA ST. IN WHITTIER

They would replace a vacant office building

Earlier this month, Whittier officials signed off on plans from MW Investment Group to redevelop a vacant office building with townhomes.

The Comstock Place development, slated for an approximately .826-acre property at 12826 Philadelphia Street, calls for the construction of 24 two-, three-, and four-bedroom townhomes in addition to 59 parking spaces.

KTGY is designing the proposed development, which will include a series of three-story structures arranged around common driveways and walkways.

Other members of the project team include engineering firm C&V, landscape architecture firm Studio Pad, and Tom Dodson & Associates.

Whittier has recently approved plans from Olson Homes for a similar project a few blocks to the southeast.
